Maruti Ertiga 2017: The country's largest car-maker Maruti Suzuki India on Thursday launched its compact multi-purpose vehicle Ertiga at an introductory price of up to Rs 8.45 lakh. It completely depends on engineers best work and ability. Has good pick up and good mileage as people require.
Ertiga will be available in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant is priced between Rs 5.89 lakh and Rs 7.30 lakh, while the diesel option will cost between Rs 7.30 lakh and Rs 8.45 lakh.

The Ertiga is based on the same platform as the immensely popular hatchback Swift. The company launched four stock car engine as required for more speed. It will be available in both petrol and diesel. The petrol variant is powered by a K-series 1.4 liter engine which produces 95 PS of power and delivers a claimed fuel economy of 16 kilometers per liter. The diesel engine is the same FIAT sourced 1.3-liter DDiS unit which also does duty in the SX4 and produces 90 PS of power and has a claimed fuel economy of 20 kilometers per liter. The new model looks more car-like than MPV as it shares its looks with its older cousins, the Swift and the Ritz.
It will be sold in three variants in both the petrol and the diesel guise. All variants, apart from the base petrol model, will be equipped with anti-lock brake system. The car would be made at the company’s facility in Gurgaon, Haryana. Maruti Suzuki has invested close to Rs 430 crore in developing the vehicle. Srivastava declined to specify the price of the new vehicle. Industry sources believe it is likely to be Rs 6-7 lakh.
