Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute Career for Technical Officers

Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute is work under the Ministry of Science & Technology. It is situated in Kolkata. Their official website is www.cgcri.res.in. It is one of the fourth oldest research & development laboratory related to the field of advanced ceramics special glasses including fibers and fiber-based devices.

As an advertisement no. 02/2012 by CSIR – CGCRI, Kolkata various posts are available in the company. For this, only Indian Nationals are eligible and can apply by sending an application form in a prescribed format.

Vacancy Details:

• 8 posts are for Technical Assistants
• 4 are for Technical Officer
• 4 posts are for Senior Technical Officer (1/ 2)

Pay scale:

• Post of Senior Technical Officer is under the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/-
• Technical Assistants and Technical Officers will get salary under the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- with relevant grade pay

Age limit:

• Maximum 28 years of age is required for the post of Technical Assistant
• Technical Officer should be less than 30 years
• Maximum 35/ 40 years of age is required for the post of senior Technical Officer

Initial screening and after that personal interview is the mode of selection. Selected candidates will get the placement at the Extension Centres at Khurja of Uttar Pradesh  and Naroda of Gujarat.
