On 4th June, Sachin took the oath in a Rajya Sabha of MP. He said to CNN IBN,”I am not interested for stay in government bungalow because only few days coming for attending the parliament. He also added that why he waste the tax money and not given someone who need more than him. But CNN IBN convince for official accommodation as security purpose.
Sachin says he prefers hotel than the government bungalow. He also wants to concentrate on his cricket. Now he resides in Mumbai with his family. He must attend the parliament in Delhi and not affect his responsibility as MP. Tendulkar has been allotted a bungalow opposite to the Rahul Gandhi. He is entitled Z-plus security cover.
Some people raised questions on if Tendulakar will able to meet the requirement of the job of parliament while he playing cricket. He told that for giving nomination to him, it is better position to response not only cricket but also other sports in the country. He believes that whatever doing today is because of cricket.
