Fire at Maharashtra Mantralaya Building News Video/ Photos - Mumbai:
As said by fire brigade sources of Mumbai, on Thursday afternoon huge fire covers the Maharashtra Mantralaya Building. Spoke person said, the fire started at 4th floor of building and spread to the sixth floor. The Chief Minister’s Office located on 6th floor, but luckily at this time CM Prithivraj Chavan is not in his office.
Reason for Maharashtra Mantralaya Building Fire: Due to a short circuit
The landmark of Mantralaya Building: It is located at South Mumbai, near to the Mumbai High Court
The police have cordoned off the area and grade 2 fire emergency has been declared.
As report massive flames are started at fourth floor, NCP Minister Babanrao Pachpute's office, heavy smoke spreads on the fifth and sixth floor of the building. Several people and many Mantralaya employees are be trapped inside the building. 16 fire tenders were rushed to battle the situation.
