Various Medical Posts in Central Reserve Police Force:
Central Armed Police Force is called Central Reserve Police Force or CRPF. Its duty is to maintain law and order and also it contain insurgency. It was formerly known as Crown Representative’s Police. Their head office is in New Delhi. It has 17 composite hospitals of 50 beds and 100 bedded 4 composite hospitals. CAPF needs dedicated candidates, so the applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the post of Specialists Medical Officer and Medical Officers of Group ‘A’ by them.

One thing is note: The mode of application is offline only. With application candidates have to send a recent passport size attested photograph and photocopies of certificates of educational qualification, age, caste and experience along with the application form.

Vacancy Detail:
221 vacancies are for specialist Medical Officer in the speciality of Medicine, Surgery, Gynae & Obs., Anaesthetist, Radiologist, Pathologist, Eye, Psychiatry, Orthopaedics and Paediatrics.

289 posts are for Medical Officer and 4 posts are for Dental Surgeon.

All above vacancies are for BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles.

Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100/- with appropriate pay scale.

Age limit: 
Specialist Medical Officer should not be more than 40 years of age.
While maximum 30 years of age is for Medical Officer.
And 35 years of age is for Dental Surgeon.

Selection will be based on personal interview.  Selected candidates will be called for a detailed medical examination conducted by a medical board constituted by the selection committee.
